Federal Government Update

Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) to be delivered by the regional development agencies (RDAs).

  • Goal: help more businesses and organizations in various sectors such as tourism and manufacturing access the support they need.
  • Delivery: The Western Economic Diversification Canada is one of six groups that will split the funding. A portion of that money will be dedicated to the network of community futures development corporations, which exist specifically to aid small businesses in rural and remote areas.
  • Eligibility: Business owners who didn't qualify for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy or the Canada Emergency Business Account should inquire about this new fund.
  • Application: Contact your Regional Development Agency
